An incubator is an important segment of the production chain in poultry farming. At present, Agidel LLC has an incubator located in the city of Lutsk with a capacity of 32 million hatching eggs per year. The geography of deliveries of daily young animals of the enterprise covers 13 regions of Ukraine, namely: Volyn, Rivne, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk, Ternopil, Chernihiv, Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Cherkasy, Kharkiv and Poltava.

But there is no limit to perfection, so Agidel LLC is not going to stop there. In order to maintain its leading position and increase its market share in poultry products, deepen vertical integration, the company plans to build a new incubator with a capacity of 50 million hatching eggs per year. It will be located near the village. Torchyn, Volyn region on a land plot of about 2.5 hectares.

The project will be implemented in accordance with the current veterinary and sanitary and construction standards, taking into account the observance of buffer zones, so as not to pollute the air of the surrounding settlements. The incubator will have isolated halls for hatching and hatching cabinets, an egg warehouse, a chamber for pre-incubation disinfection of eggs, a room for sorting young animals, a room for veterinary treatments, a warehouse for handing over and receiving daily young animals and a room for disinfecting containers and production equipment.

All technological processes will be maximally automated according to the latest developments of world manufacturers of incubation equipment. The planning of the halls and auxiliary services of the hatchery will ensure the proper movement of staff and circulating air flows in order to prevent contamination of hatching eggs and hatched young.

According to Oleksiy Spivak, Deputy Production Director of Agidel LLC, the incubator will be the most modern in Ukraine. The premises will be equipped with a system of intake, preparation, purification and removal of air with autonomous control, which will maintain the specified parameters of indoor air temperature and humidity, with excess air pressure over the release of purified air into the atmosphere. Incubation cabinets will be autonomous, air preparation will be carried out by separate equipment. This will raise the quality of daily young animals to the highest level. Many technical processes that are performed manually on the current incubator will be automated. Due to this, the daily young stock will be completed in poultry houses with homogeneity of 95% and above.

Quite a significant advantage will be the presence of a car wash on the territory. In addition, they plan to purchase special vehicles for the transportation of hatching eggs and day-old chicks, equipped with control of microclimate parameters. This will make it possible to deliver day-old chicks to all parts of Ukraine without losing moisture in the body of chickens.

The incubator is planned to be built by the third quarter of 2022. Agidel LLC will provide about 30 high-paying staff jobs.

“After the construction, we will have a state-of-the-art incubator in Ukraine, which will allow us to expand the supply of daily young animals throughout Ukraine,” said Oleksiy Spivak, Deputy Production Director of Agidel LLC.
