For the fifth year in a row, in Volyn, inpatient departments of territorial centers of social services for the population (nursing homes) and charity homes receive meat and sausage products free of charge. What these social institutions have in common is that their clients are lonely elderly people who either do not have children or have abandoned them, as well as people with special needs. Some of them are bedridden, so they cannot do without outside help.
This initiative — food aid — was launched in 2010 by the founder of the Agroindustrial Group, Sergei Martinyak. To date, this social project has already covered 8 establishments. In general, Since 2010, LLC «Poultry complex» Gubyn», which is part of the APG «Pan Kurchak» and is engaged in poultry farming, production of poultry meat, has shipped more than 10,000 kilograms of chicken for stationary departments and houses of mercy, and sausage manufacturer VMP (APG «Pan Kurchak») — more than 3,000 kilograms of products. So, since the beginning of this year, within the framework of such a social project, institutions have provided meat and sausage products for more than 100,000 hryvnas.

The camp started working last year in July, said one of the initiators of its creation, the head of the All-Ukrainian charitable organization «For the Right to Life», now the head of «Lesnaya Zastava» Irina Sazonova. Its pupils, and these are children-migrants and children of ATO participants, are engaged by volunteers. Meanwhile, caring people help the institution. Therefore, such food sponsorship is appropriate.
«We were pleasantly surprised when the car that brought us chicken and sausage for children turned out to be from Volyn. Earlier, we asked a similar local company to help with products, but were refused», said Irina.
From the beginning, says Irina Sazonova, the institution was supposed to work only in the summer, however, when the situation in the east of the country worsened, it became necessary all year round. Now there are 120 pupils at the age from 6 to 17 years. Together with health improvement and entertainment, children attend classes with professional psychologists, because most of them need such help extremely. They come here for 21 days, but there are some, and these are almost twenty pupils, who are in the «Forest Deposit» for several months. Therefore, during the school year, they are students of the Dymer gymnasium.
In just a year of the camp’s work, half a thousand children had a rest and underwent psychological rehabilitation, said the head of the «Forestry Pledge». By the way, there are also little Volhynians, she says. These are the children of the ATO participants.
«Every day and everywhere we hear about the help that our guys on the front line need, whether it is necessary for the fighters who returned from the east. And today we are doing everything to make them feel this support, various funds operate, those who are not indifferent organize actions … But we must not forget that their families also need help, and especially children who are forced to live with adults. The volunteers are great for opening a camp where they can both relax and undergo psychological rehabilitation. And this is important. They turned to me, I helped. I think this help is not a one-off», summed up Sergei Martinyak.
MORE THAN 2 MILLION UAH have sent enterprises of the agro-industrial GROUP "Pan Kurchak" FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF VILLAGES
For the third year in a row, village councils where enterprises lease land received 0.5 percent of the land assessment for the development of their settlements. Therefore, from 10 to 100+ thousand hryvnia annually, depending on the area of leased land, each village council receives from such cooperation. Meanwhile, on what to direct the money, local residents themselves decide during the emergence of villages.
Now enterprises of the agro-industrial group «Pan Kurchak» pay 0.5 percent to 8 village councils in Volyn (Gorokhovsky, Gorokhovsky and Rozhishchensky districts) and 5 village councils in Rivne region (Dubensky, Rovensky and Radivilovsky districts). According to the chairman of the supervisory board Sergei Gorlach, in general, over the past year, these village councils have counted more than a million hryvnia of such financial assistance. The Ivashchukivsky village council, which is in the Radivilovsky district of the Rivne region, will receive the most, and this is almost UAH 300,000, because there are more shares rented there.
Now Sergei Martynyuk plans to consolidate the initiative at the legislative level so that all tenants become socially responsible and pay 0.5 percent for the development of those territories where they work on the land.
