One million to help fight the coronavirus
Pan Kurczak’s agro-industrial group has been adhering to the principles of socially responsible business since its foundation. For more than 20 years, Agropromgroup enterprises have been helping territorial communities, on whose grounds the production capacities of the enterprises are located.
We did not stay aside even when the area was covered by a wave of coronavirus. To help fight this disease, the Agro-Industrial Group Mr. Kurchak sent more than a million hryvnias through the European Vector Charitable Foundation. Part of the money was spent on the purchase of reusable masks and protective suits for disinfection. Part of the formation of food kits for low-income citizens before Easter.
The lion’s share, 600 thousand hryvnias, was used to buy a blood gas analyzer, which is an important device for diagnosing critical conditions, which will help assess the patient’s condition and the amount of medical care during intensive care. The equipment was transferred to the intensive care unit of Novovolynsk Central City Hospital.
For Mr. Kurczak’s Agro-Industrial Group, social responsibility is not empty words, we are a group of companies that strives to conduct business according to world standards and we consider it very important that business bears social responsibility for the development of the territories where it operates.
