Currently, winter rape has been harvested in the fields of Agropromgroup, and winter wheat and spring barley are next in line. In total, this year under the winter almost 6 thousand hectares of arable land, these are fields in both Volyn and Rivne regions. Meanwhile, Agropromgroup has increased the area of winter wheat, sowing it twice as much as last year, which is almost 5 thousand hectares. More than 17%, compared to the previous year, the area under spring barley. In total, this year Agropromgroup plans to harvest 15,000 hectares of land.
According to Oleksandr Mekhedko, director of ZAK, which cultivates the lands of Pan Kurchak, more than ten units of high-tech combines and several dozen trucks operate in the fields to harvest in a timely and high-quality manner. Meanwhile, Agropromgroup’s elevators are ready to receive, dry, clean and store grain of the new harvest, and these are four modern elevator complexes with a capacity of 100 thousand tons, owned by Agrotekhnika LLC, part of Pan Kurchak APG, in Turiysk, Lokachi, Charukov. Nesvich) and Maryanivtsi.
In the future, high-quality grain without GMOs, grown in the fields of Agropromgroup, will be part of a full-fledged balanced feed produced by LLC “Agrotechnics” at its two plants. Volyn compound feeds are of European quality, and therefore they are used both for fattening poultry and pigs on Agropromgroup’s own farms and exported abroad.
Meanwhile, the village councils on whose territory Mr. Kurchak cultivates land benefit financially from such cooperation. After all, the enterprises of Agropromgroup are socially responsible, because not only do they regularly pay the peasants for the rent of shares, but also pay 0.5% of the normative-monetary assessment of land for the development of rural areas. Thus, last year alone, Mr. Kurchak invested more than 2 million hryvnias to solve pressing problems of the communities of Volyn and Rivne regions.
