Experts of the Center for Research and Certification of Halal “Alraid” visited the newly built complex of slaughter and processing of poultry LLC “Poultry Complex” Gubin “, which is part of the Agro-Industrial Group” Pan Kurchak “. In Novovolynsk, experts were shown modern equipment from leading European companies, which will produce high-quality products. According to the chairman of the supervisory board of APG “Mr. Kurchak” Serhiy Horlach, it is planned to supply it, including to the countries of the Middle East and Central Asia. And for this it is necessary that the Volyn chicken has a Halal Certificate. Therefore, the inspection of the Certification Center took place before the opening of the newly built complex to harmonize the entire technological process with the requirements of Sharia.

After the inspection, it was agreed that a representative of the Alraid Halal Research and Certification Center would work permanently in Novovolynsk. He will ensure that Muslim traditions are observed when slaughtering birds, and that finished products do not contain prohibited components. This is also a prerequisite for obtaining a Halal Certificate. It will allow to export high-quality Volyn chicken to Islamic countries, because “halal” (from the Arabic al-halal – allowed) – is a brand that confirms the conformity of production to Muslim traditions.

The first trial batch of such chicken, produced in Novovolynsk, will be 25 tons. The range will include more than ten varieties of high quality products. It will undergo an express freeze process on modern European equipment and will be sent to Uzbekistan and the United Arab Emirates. Subsequent export deliveries will be adjusted in accordance with the expansion of the customer base in Muslim countries, because they are ready to sell quality chicken from Volyn to anywhere in the world, where they will find interested trading partners.

This year, a powerful domestic producer of poultry meat in the Western region, Gubin Poultry Complex LLC, is increasing its export potential. Therefore, in 2015, foreign partners are planned to sell 5 times more high-quality products than last year.
