In order to form a high authority of working specialties in young people studying in vocational schools – future employees of the food industry, on May 16 the company “VMP” held an Open Day for students of Vocational School №11 Novovolynsk.

The event with students was attended by the director of the Lviv enterprise Tetyana Mykolayivna, the deputy director for production of Lviv Volodymyr Mykhailovych, the head of the veterinary control department Matsyokha Larysa and the head of the personnel management department Palko Maryana. The leaders of the enterprise are convinced that such meetings are important for young qualified specialists to come to the production.

The guests were greeted by the director of the enterprise. In her welcoming speech, Tetyana Mykolayivna thanked everyone for their interest in the company and made a brief digression into the history of the company, starting from the establishment of the meat plant in Soviet times, and its formation into one of the most powerful meat processing enterprises in Ukraine.

Subsequently, the floor was given to the Deputy Director of Production. Lviv Volodymyr Mykhailovych told about the main directions of the enterprise’s work, production capacities, the latest technology of meat processing and production of finished products. After a short story for students and teachers, a tour of the company was conducted.

The head of the department of veterinary control and quality control of finished products, in turn, conducted a tour of the laboratory, acquainting guests with the equipment on which a variety of research. After that, she spoke about the methods of work, the high level of product quality and the constant conduct of laboratory tests to improve and maintain this quality.

The meeting took the form of a dialogue. Young people were actively interested in certain aspects of the enterprise. After the tour, students were shown films about the company, namely the implementation of the process of processing live animals, and a film about the company’s products and its range.

Palko Maryana, Head of the Personnel Management Department, spoke about employment opportunities, career prospects, requirements for specialists and working conditions.
At the end of the event, guests were tasted sausages that they saw on the projector screen shortly before.

Students led by the Director of Vocational School №11 Novovolynsk Stetsyuk Yuri Apollinariyovych and teachers thanked the management of the company for an interesting meeting and understood how hard and responsible is their work.
