Determining the company’s needs in raw materials and other products is carried out by employees of the supply department together with other departments: planning and economic, accounting and reporting, sales of finished products, the department of export logistics and road transport. This is necessary to obtain accurate information on the company’s need for resources for the uninterrupted production of feed products and data on the funds it is willing to spend on procurement.
After that, the exact need for raw materials and packaging materials is determined. And when the raw materials have already been delivered, the managers of the department together with the production and technological laboratory check it for quantitative and qualitative compliance with the terms of the supply contract.
An important part of the work is the constant monitoring and selection of reliable suppliers, the conclusion of contracts and control over compliance with its terms, the systematic conduct of tenders.
