These are the results of the rating compiled by the national agricultural portal latifundist.com. Following the results of 2014, it was possible to get into the national top ten due to the increase of production capacities with simultaneous improvement of quality and expansion of product range, said Serhiy Horlach, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Pan Kurchak Agro-Industrial Group. According to him, experienced technologists are constantly improving the recipe and introducing new components, which improves the quality and efficiency of mixtures. Modern European equipment, which is equipped with both plants, also allows to introduce innovations. Therefore, due to the combination of technological, scientific and human resources, Volyn produces compound feeds that are competitive in both domestic and foreign markets.

In total, last year, almost 86,000 tons of balanced feed (pellets, placers, grain) were produced at two feed mills owned by Agrotekhnika LLC, which is part of the Pan Kurchak APG. Thus, despite the difficult economic situation in Ukraine, Lokachyn feed mill last year worked 50 percent more powerfully than in 2013, and Turiysky – did not reduce turnover, despite the stop even during the modernization period. Thus, domestic and foreign buyers were able to offer even more high quality products. And this year’s prospect is to maintain positive dynamics and increase volumes by 18%, Serhiy Horlach shared his plans. According to him, in 2015, two plants of Agrotechnika LLC are to produce more than 100,000 tons of fodder. The company has further potential for development, as the design capacity of Turiysky and Lokachinsky feed mills allows to produce 138 thousand tons of feed annually.

The reinforcement of these production sites is an extruder shop. Last year it also worked almost one and a half times more powerfully, and can process a total of 19,200 tons of raw materials annually. This year’s plan is to produce 14,800 tons of extrudate.

Meanwhile, it is convenient for customers to cooperate with Agrotechnics LLC, because the producers deliver the purchased feed to the buyer by specialized transport. The cars offered for transportation are different in terms of load capacity, but all of them have the function of automatic loading and unloading.
