Corporate social responsibility is not empty words
Volyn Regional Foundation “European Vector” with the support of the Agro-Industrial Group “Mr. Kurchak” donated a VAZ car for use in the daily activities of the Shchurin outpatient clinic of general practice – family medicine.
Shchuryn outpatient clinic serves patients from 9 surrounding villages of the district. The territory is quite large, so a car is extremely necessary for work. Back in the summer of last year, during a meeting with MP Serhiy Martyniak, outpatient staff and residents asked for help in purchasing a car for the needs of the outpatient clinic. And today the Volyn regional fund “European vector” handed over the car to the Shchurin outpatient clinic. Because for the agro-industrial group “Mr. Kurchak”, which works in the region, social responsibility of business is not empty words. And the promises are kept here. They promised a car – and here it is, not new, but just after the overhaul, the car is already showing off in the yard of the clinic. The car is powerful, has increased passability, it will help the doctor to get to patients more quickly.
– The car will make it easier for us to provide medical care to the population. The geography of patients is considerable – nine settlements, roads not everywhere of satisfactory quality. We will now be more mobile in providing medical care to residents in need. – says the head of Shchuryn outpatient clinic of general practice – family medicine Volodymyr Antonovych Mosiychuk.
Lesya Ivanivna Basalyk, the chief physician of the Rozhysche Primary Health Care Center of the Rozhysche District Council, and Vasyl Karpyuk, the village head of Shchuryn, also took part in the transfer.
