LLC “Vira-1” is part of the Agropromgroup “Pan Kurchak” and is engaged in breeding meat pigs, put into operation the first stage of a new breeder in the village of Drozdny, Volyn region, with a capacity of 800 sows. Meanwhile, the second phase of the project is in the process of reconstruction, which will increase the planting of sows by another 1,300 heads. Therefore, the entire new breeder is designed for 2,100 sows.

Today Vira-1 LLC also includes a breeding complex for 1,300 sows in the village of Radoshin in Volyn. At the start of the project, the uterine herd was imported from specialized farms in England and the Czech Republic. Today, the genetic material of the company’s reproductive complexes is imported from Denmark – DanBred International. The population is constantly updated by replenishing new sows from abroad. The complex maintains genetic lines of pigs (GGP, GP, F-1, F-2), grows its own repair young stock, has a breeding boar station and a laboratory for artificial insemination and cyclically grows piglets for fattening in the amount of 550-600 heads per week.

In addition, the company has a fattening complex for 10,000 heads of simultaneous planting, which, like the breeder, is equipped with modern equipment of the company “TerraExim-Agroimpex” (Poland) and meets the highest world standards.

For reference: Vira-1 LLC has the status of a breeding plant for breeding large white pigs. The uterine herd is entered in the state breeding register.

Due to the crossing of many lines of large white pig breed and landrace breed, a high level of meatiness was achieved. The company uses compound feed formulations only of its own development, which have no analogues in Ukraine. A special fattening scheme makes it possible to achieve optimal results in weight gain and feed conversion.

Pork LLC “Vira-1” is a raw material for the production of quality meat and sausage products, which is manufactured by LLC “VMP”, which is part of the Agropromgroup “Pan Kurchak”.
