The Ukrainian Athletics Championship took place in Lutsk, in which 500 athletes from 25 regions of Ukraine took part. The competition lasted from June 18 to 20 at Avangard Stadium.

One of the sponsors of the competition was Vira-1 LLC, which is part of the Risters Group. The company provided charitable assistance in the amount of 5,000 hryvnias. The tournament organizers spent this money on food for the participants of sports competitions.
